I use to think it was a bit of a curse having frequent 'LIGHTBULB IDEAS' ripe for entrepreneurial pursuit. I'd add them to my 'To Do ONE Day List' and then get pretty irritated as the list just seemed to get longer.
I was conditioned into thinking I needed to get what I was currently on with, completed before I could start something else. On a micro-task level, that is a good productive strategy I do use a lot. However, I have also found it a hindrance, delaying what I really enjoyed, working on new SEED IDEAS, developing start-ups, growing them into fully sustainable businesses.
Having an idea fester in your mind for any period of time, without initiating any action leaves it firmly in the 'just an idea' file. It also trains the brain's neural pathways to think 'that's just an idea' sabotaging any proactivity to bring it to reality.
So now, against many business strategists advice, I actually do take some action on new ideas as they come up. It may not be anything huge, however, it's doing something, which takes it out of the 'never going to happen' pile. It gives it a bigger energetic frequency, transcending it from just a mental thought into physical form.
For me its a much more positive way of being. Acting on 'a thought' as it comes in, gives it permission to become something more. It's freeing, keeps the energy flowing and feels like you've cleared your Inbox 😁
We are naturally creative souls wired to CREATE. So next time you get a new idea, however random it seems, and you feel inspired to act on it, just DO exactly that, however small the action is.
In the end, you never know where it may go.
However, you do know it won't go anywhere if you don't.
